Simply the best martini I've ever had, with a just a tiny zing to it. Cool as a cucumber and even more tasty, the perfect Summer treat.
3/4ounceGinger liqueur or brandy (I use Canton)
Splash of lemon juice
Ice to mix
Sugar for rim
Lemon wedge & blueberries for garnish
Rinse your martini glass in water and place in the freezer for 10 minutes. It keeps the glass cold longer.
Remove the glass from the freezer. Place a layer of sugar in a dish or shallow bowl and dip just the rim of the glass in the sugar. If you didn't freeze your glass, cut a lemon wedge and moisten the rim first.
Pour Canton, Limoncello & vodka into a shaker filled with ice & shake vigorously.
Pour the contents of your shaker into your martini glass. It should fill it to the brim.
